Adult Degree Program
The Adult Degree Program offers courses in a format designed specifically for adults that allows flexibility around full-time employment, enabling them to achieve their educational goals as quickly as possible while balancing their busy professional and personal lives. To accommodate our students’ busy schedules, classes are offered once a week in the evening, with one learning team meeting weekly.

Admission Requirements
- Pay a non-refundable $25 admission application fee
- Earned a minimum 2.0 GPA in the last 30 college level semester hours attempted (Education majors will need a minimum of a 2.3)
- Students with less than 30 college level semester hours will have to submit a high school transcript
- Must be in good standing with the last college/university attended
- Submit official transcripts from all colleges/universities attended (even if students have withdrawn from the institution prior to final grades being posted)
Students transferring from junior/community colleges and four-year accredited institutions are limited to transferring 66 college level semester credit hours toward graduation requirements. Only courses with grades of “C” or better are accepted for transfer credit.
Note: There is no guarantee that all transfer credit will apply towards satisfying degree requirements at Huston-Tillotson University. The Academic Advisor, in consultation with the Director of Student Services, make the final decision to accept transfer credit applicable to the student’s degree plan. Transfer credit is not counted in calculating a student’s cumulative GPA.
